Lately I have been feeling the need for change, and the first place I usually like to start is my wardrobe. Which means one thing: time to go shopping. The moment I saw this skirt I knew I had to buy it. Not only is it completely different from anything I already have, but it's the kind of piece that makes you feel like you could do some major butt kicking (of the office variety of course, trying to climb stairs in this skirt is hard enough!)

I can't believe I'm over halfway through my time in Canberra. It hasn't always been easy, but it has so been worth it. Living alone, exploring a foreign place, trying new things. All the things life is about.

In case you haven't already realised, this blazer has a special place in my heart, usually only reserved for peanut butter choc chip cookies. Which is probably why I always feel insanely happy when I wear it (and why it has featured so often on this blog- my apologies!)
